Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These terms govern your use of the tools, Chrome extensions, and services published by ShipHero’s Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team under the wms.dev domain. By installing, accessing, or using any of these tools, you agree to these terms.

ShipHero Terms of Service

All tools and extensions are developed and maintained by ShipHero’s Forward Deployed Engineering team and operate under ShipHero’s Terms of Service. The sections below provide additional terms specific to FDE-published tools and extensions.

Scope

The FDE team builds single-tenant, per-customer software based on each customer’s statement of work (SOW) and contract. The specific features, integrations, external services, and data flows delivered to a given customer are defined by their executed agreement. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the terms of a customer’s SOW or master agreement, the customer-specific agreement controls.

Acceptable Use

  • Use our tools and extensions only for their intended business purpose as outlined in your agreement or the applicable Chrome Web Store listing.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with our tools except where expressly permitted by law.
  • Do not use our tools to violate any applicable law, infringe third-party rights, or harm ShipHero, its customers, or other users.
  • Do not share access credentials or distribute internal tools beyond the authorized user base defined in your agreement.

Intellectual Property

All tools, extensions, source code, designs, and documentation produced by the FDE team are the intellectual property of ShipHero unless otherwise agreed in a customer SOW or contract. Customers receive the usage rights specified in their executed agreement.

Data & Privacy

Data handling practices for our tools and Chrome extensions are described in our Privacy Policy. Any transfer of information to external systems is performed only with the explicit permission of the customer and is documented in the applicable statement of work or contract.

Service Availability

We provide end-to-end development, hosting, and lifetime support for the systems we build. Specific availability commitments, uptime targets, and support terms are defined per customer in the applicable SOW or master service agreement.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Except as otherwise set forth in a customer’s SOW or master agreement, our tools are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipHero and its FDE team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of these tools. Customer-specific warranties and liability terms, if any, are governed by the executed agreement.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our tools after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
